The Corner Rule Still Matters

Pick one corner - usually bottom-left or bottom-right - and never let your highest tile leave it. Even with 36 cells, a big tile drifting through the middle of the board eventually gets surrounded by mismatched neighbors and stranded. Anchor first, expand second.

Run Two Merge Chains at Once

This is the signature 6x6 technique. The board is wide enough to build your main snake along the bottom rows while a second, smaller chain matures along a side edge. Feed the secondary chain with everyday merges, then fold its output into the main snake when the values line up. Two production lines build big tiles far faster than one.
